Karena de Pont

Karena de Pont (nee McGreal) is a visual storyteller with a deep, pure, and unquenchable appetite for artistic self-expression.  Her work is an assemblage of different expressions from contemporary oil paintings through to abstract acrylic paintings, to sculpture, and more; whatever works best to bring her vision to life.

Through her art practice, Karena

de Pont questions ideas relating to the human condition, exploring the human physiological journey, what we may reveal or conceal from others, our personal story, the things, events, or places that shape our lives and our reactions to this.

Karena is based in Mahurangi West, north of Auckland, New Zealand.  For all enquiries regarding her art practice, work or commissions, please contact her directly.
